Sutter County summers are hotter than Sacramento's and there is very little between the sun and a vehicle parked in a Yuba City yard. Yuba City is the longest drive of anywhere we serve, farther than Elk Grove and well outside the Sacramento metro, and the only honest way to handle that is to plan around it rather than talk past it. From Gray Avenue or Tierra Buena you are looking at the better part of an hour down Highway 99. The work itself suits Sutter County unusually well. This is farm country, and farm country is hard on vehicles in ways the suburbs are not. Given the distance, most people drop it. A full tint install is two to three hours and a coating is longer, which is a long time to sit having already driven forty miles. If you are coming down with someone following you, dropping the vehicle and collecting it later in the day is usually the least painful version. We will confirm the timing before you leave.
Mid-morning. We open at 9 Monday through Saturday and 10 on Sunday, and a booking that starts after the southbound rush and finishes before the northbound one is the easiest version of this run. Sundays are quieter again on 99 if the day suits you.
The dust itself does not, but what people do about it does. Agricultural dust is abrasive, and wiping a dusty panel dry is what puts fine swirls and scratches into clear coat over a season. A ceramic coating changes the routine: the dust sits on a slick surface and comes off with water rather than needing to be rubbed off, which is where most of the damage was coming from in the first place.
Yes. The only rule is to leave the windows up for three to five days while the film bonds, so nothing gets rolled down at a drive-through on the way home. Some haze or a few small water pockets during that period are normal and clear on their own as the film cures.
