Straight down Douglas Blvd to I-80 and into the bay on Fulton Ave. Most Granite Bay customers put tint, coating and any dings into one booking and make the drive once.
Douglas Blvd runs due west, and the drive toward Roseville or I-80 after four o’clock is spent looking straight into the sun. Nano-ceramic film turns back the infrared rather than only darkening the glass, so the cabin stays cool and the view stays clear, and the large curved rear glass and panoramic roofs on newer vehicles are cut by machine from the vehicle’s own template. We meter the front doors before a pattern is cut so the car leaves legal as well as cooler.

Granite Bay is where Placer County stops being subdivisions and starts being lots. Houses sit back from Auburn-Folsom Road and Barton Road behind long driveways, the valley oaks are old enough to shade half a yard, and a car tends to be kept for a long time rather than traded every three years. That changes what is worth doing to it. About thirty minutes: west on Douglas Blvd to I-80, off at Watt Ave and south to Fulton. A full-vehicle tint takes two to three hours, and a ceramic coating needs the car for longer because the paint is prepped and cured indoors first. You are welcome to wait, but given the drive most Granite Bay customers drop the car in the morning and collect it later in the day.

No. Tint law is state law, so the rule is the same in Granite Bay as on Fulton Ave. On the front side windows California allows only clear, colourless film that passes 88% of light on its own and leaves glass plus film at 70% VLT or above; the rear side windows and back glass can go darker. We meter your factory glass first and give you the CVC 26708 certificate to keep in the car.
No. Tint and ceramic coating both need a clean, climate-controlled space to come out right, and a driveway under oak trees is the opposite of that. Everything is done at 1972 Fulton Ave by appointment, open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM.
